A cycling holiday of 7 days, 330km, a million flowers and a whirlwind of emotions crossing the mountains of the Algarve and rolling hills of the Alentejo region…

It is strongly recommended that this tour should be biked during the Spring but is possible from October through to May. The journey will bring you a smorgasbord of sounds, colours, smells and tastes.

Along the way you will encounter the regional traditions, economy and culture as you meet the local inhabitants in the local parks and gardens, taverns and at the grocery stores, giving you an insight into their unique way of life.

This route is of an intermediate level of difficulty and follows mainly asphalt roads with little or very little traffic. The dirt roads encountered have a reasonably smooth surface.
The trail is different each and every day with a wide variety of landscapes but always with the characteristic tranquillity of this region of southern Portugal.

Culturally this is one of the most authentic regions of Portugal. Time appears to stand still and life is lived in rhythm with the seasons.
