Discover the many biking trails in the Unesco Geopark
The Unesco Geopark, of which the Freita Mountain Range is part of, lays about 60km underneath Porto. The park has a great variety of geological phenomenons such as the ‘Bearing stones’ (Pedras Parideiras). This rare phenomena can only be found in this park and near St. Petersburg in Russia. The 75 meters high waterfall, one of the biggest in Europe, is also very impressive.
